A fraudolent credit card use is an order executed without card owner knowledge that, when receives the bank statemant, refuses the orders.

In this case the the shopkeeper have to refund the card owner.

With the Mastercard Secure Code protocol is not necessary to refund credit card owner!

Gestpay electronic commerce service added a new important feature: the CVV control code for Mastercard and Visa credit card.    

The codes indicated on the credit card are an important way to verfy autentication data inserted on Gestpay.

This special code is another step against online frauds because credit card owner is obliged to insert the code. 

With CVV and 4DBC  control codes abilitation (Verified by Vusa and Secure Code) the Gestpay shopkeeper can have a very avant-garde service updated with the best wardship system against frauds.

Security codes attivation is completely free for e-commerce shopkeeper that use Gestpay and the attivation is immediate and automatic and It is not necessary a techincal interventation.

Gestpay guarantees a maximum security level for transactions appeasing both customers (about personal data privacy) and shopkeepers (againsts online freuds).

New security standard

* ssl3 at 128 bit protocol: the communication between browser and bank server is guaranteed by an encrypted transport SSL3 at 128 bit (actually it is the highest security standard). With this kind of communication cunsumer cannot interferes between merchant and the bank because parameters are encrypted by high security algorithm.
*IP address: to increase security, merchant have to indicate one or more server IP address that will communicate with the Banca Sella server: the latter will make a cross-check between merchant id anf calling Ip address at any call. The merchant will modify his reply pages about the transaction result (URL OK e KO) in order to decode the bank answer.
*Communication reiteration: If it is impossible to connect to the merchant server, the "Banca Sella safe server" will make a default number of attempts to establish the communication and will show to customer a "virtual receipt" with all transactions informations. If it is impossible to connect yet, the customer will visualize a page with payment information from Banca Sella instead of the shopkeeper page. The "Banca safe server" will make other attempts from server to server (in regular time interval), until communication will happen. If in 24 hours communication will not established, the help desk will contact directly the shopkeeper. 
*Java Class: the merchant that contracted with Gestpay can download from site Sellanet a multiplatform Java Class, adaptable with all operating systems. Its function is to encrypt data by a symmetrical key algorythm with a new key, directly daily generated from Banca Sella system, that will passed to the Banca Sella server. On Sellanet site customers can find different examples "copy and paste" realized with most famous programmation languages.
*Reability server/server communication: The merchant surely will have an answer from the bank about the transaction test. thanks to the drect server/server communication, also when customer close browser before obtaining an answer.
*No Display Page: No Display Page offer to the shopkeeper the possibility to acquire on own website all the information to make a payment. An indispensable prerequisite to directly acquire customer personal data is to have a safe server (a site protected by digital certificate).
